ABOUT JEFF SPENCE

Jeff didn't study business. He studied engineering, physics, and whatever looked hardest. Then he spent 25 years operating in 100+ countries, across 30+ currencies, with hundreds of leadership teams who had no safety net and no playbook to fall back on.

He's the author of Unconstrained and the architect of the Edge Protocol — built not from theory but from decades of watching what actually works when conventional wisdom hasn't shown up yet and the margin for error is zero.

What he found wasn't complicated. It was just invisible to anyone who'd never had to look.

A Note From the Edge

100N. 30. 100S. That's shorthand for a career I didn't plan. North of a hundred countries. Thirty-some currencies. And hundreds of leadership teams engaged. And the slow realization that the businesses I kept being drawn to — the ones on fire, in unfamiliar markets, run by people who couldn't afford to follow the playbook — were teaching me something the conventional world had missed.

The pattern was always the same. The leaders who won weren't the ones with the most resources. They were the ones who attracted resources — because they were solving problems worth solving from a position nobody else could occupy.

I didn't invent that. I just kept finding it, everywhere I went, until I couldn't ignore it anymore. The Edge Protocol is what it looks like written down.

The Edge Approach

Most frameworks are borrowed from companies ten times your size operating in completely different conditions. The Edge Protocol isn't.

It's a four-station operating system for companies that are done competing on price, done sounding like everyone else, and ready to build from a position nobody else can replicate.

The Company

A platform and operating system built to help founders and operators move from the middle to the edge.

The Declaration

The manifesto behind the Edge Protocol — why the middle is lethal and what to do about it.

The Print

The written foundation behind the Edge. Strategy, posture, and the language to escape the middle.
